Yōjōcha irodori tea bag series

This tea is mellow and sweet with cardamoms and mint giving it a refreshing character. Using traditional Chinese medicinal knowledge, the blend was made to help relax the mind and the body. It aims to help release tension, and chest pressure, and boost appetite. It is believed to provide relief for flushes and tiredness and may help prevent your condition from worsening when you start to feel sick. It is also recommended for expecting mothers. One of the main components, tochū tea is high in minerals and reputed to be beneficial for weight loss and in cases of high blood pressure.

In Chinese medicine, foods are classed based on their energetic properties and their effects on the body. They are categorized as heating, cooling, drying, or damp. Balancing these properties is essential for maintaining health and preventing illness or disease.
This tea is made of ingredients that are believed to be yin, or cooling in Chinese medicine. Cooling foods are often used to clear heat, reduce inflammation, and promote a sense of calmness.

The tea is delicious both prepared hot or cold. To cool down in the summer heat, make a cold brew. Put the teabag into 500 ml water and let it sit in the fridge for 5-6 hours.

Shinonome is caffeine-free and free of artificial fragrances or additives.

The tea is available
