A verdant, sweet, and spicy single-origin Gyokuro from the Gokō cultivar. The aroma is uniquely sweet and fruity while the brew is silky, sweet, and characteristically umami-rich.
Inooka tea fields in Kyotanabe city are famous for hand-picked, premium quality gyokuro. Only a limited amount is produced from this tea each year.
Steep it with 80 ml water for 150 seconds and you get a fruity, mellow, silky-oily textured gyokuro. Brew it with less water and you get an intense, verdant gyokuro.
