This tea has a very strong roasted flavour when steeping it - very similar to coffee. The actual taste is more mild than the smell. I was hoping that the beans and seaweed would give it a heartier flavour, but it didn't taste too much different to regular genmaicha to me.

Tastes like genmaicha to start, more infusions bring out the taste of the black bean. Brewed about 5 times and really liked this more than I expected to. Great taste at an absurdly low price makes this a great value!
