Hasamiyaki Gyokuro Teacup from Higashi Sonogi-gun, Nagasaki prefecture.
Hasamiyaki is a type of porcelain first made in Hasami town. The technique was brought from Korea and looks back 400 years of history. The porcelain is fired at a very high temperature, and as the surface vitrifies, it is suitable for all classes of teas.
