Roasted and smoked green tea
Kyobancha is speciality of Kyoto Prefecture made of large tea leaves. It has a smoky aroma with ‘green’ aftertaste and is very low in caffeine. Daily casual tea that is good for elderly people or child also. Enjoyable at any time of the day.

1. Put 6g (1.2 tsp ) of Kyōbancha into a Japanese teapot.
2. Cool boiled water down to 95℃ (203ºF) and pour it (300cc) into the teapot.
3. Steep for 30 seconds and pour the equal amount of tea in each cup.
The taste of tea is a matter of preference, so try infusing tea in several ways and find your favorite taste.

I love this tea. Tried various kyobanchas before figuring out that I like this one the best. I’m on my 8 or maybe already 10th 500gr bag of it.

It has the smell, taste and (long) aftertaste of a freshly unwrapped cigar. If you like it, it's your choice. (Not mine)
