Taiwanese oolong tea
This tea is a masterful combination of pleasantly sweet notes and sensually roasty, refined flavors.
The dry leaves have a warm, roasty aroma of baked sweet potato, with steady floral notes behind it, while the flushed leaves are more dominantly floral, honey, ginger bread and cinnamon flashing up. The taste is elegant. Mild and sweet, gently nutty, sweet potato spicing up the honied floral notes.
In the aftertaste the grassy tones come forward like a caress. Nothing too strong or dominant, but pleasantly mellow.
The teasoup is pale yellow leaving a mildly grassy aftertaste. Sipping this tea leaves a particularly moist, slightly creamy but fresh sensation in your mouth.

STEP 1) Warm your teapot. Pour boiling water into a gaiwan or teapot, let it sit for a little while, then discard all the water.
STEP 2) Rinse. Put the tea leaves in your vessel, pour hot water over them and then discard the water quickly. This step is for "waking the leaves" a little bit.
STEP 3) Brew. Pour boiling water on your rinsed tea leaves and brew for 30 seconds.
STEP 4) Serve. Pour the tea into a pitcher, and then into cups.
STEP 5) Brew again.
❖ After the first few infusions, you can increase the steeping time (to about 35-40 seconds).
❖ Make sure to open the lid of the teapot between infusions, to prevent the leaves from cooking.
❖ This is how we recommend brewing this tea, but we all have our preferences, so try experimenting to find the way you like it the most.

Extremely delicious oolong. Harmonious green pear flavor with hints of roasted almond and baked blueberry muffins and honeydew mellon and a faint lychee undertone. Excellent tea that can be pushed without getting any bitterness. Incredibly balanced and not too mellow of flavors. A Great daily tea

WOW ! This tea has a wonderful floral aroma, no bitterness and the clear liquid makes you very focused and cheerful to the point of laughing. The taste persists long after drinking it, so it stays in your mind. It needs higher temperature to open up and it can be brewed more times, my favourite being number 2. I am suspecting this tea has a lot of L-theanine, probably from being a high altitude tea, you feel high as well :-), one of the best tea experiences i had.
