The teaware are made of white clay in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The teapot and the pitcher are unglazed, while the tea cups are glazed on the inside.
The tray is a parquet bamboo tray made by Takano Chikko in Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto Prefecture.
Kabusecha Akamine is an umami-rich shaded tea with a sweet, mellow taste and a refreshing, slightly vegetal flavor.

Initiation:
Before first use, rinse it with hot water, then let it dry completely!
Usage:
Avoid placing it on hot surfaces, like stove, and never use in microwave or oven.
Cleaning:
It is better to avoid dishwashing liquid, but you can use gentle, organic soap to clean the cup. Never use bleach!
Avoid using dishwasher or dryer!
Storage:
After use, always let it dry completely, for if stored away while still wet, it might develop an unpleasant smell or mold.
