Handmade matcha tea bowl hand-painted with dragonflies and gold flakes.
A special edition for Summer. Badarai" chawan are flat and wide, commonly used in summer, because thanks to this shape matcha cools easier in them.
The bowl comes in a wooden box signed by the artist.
INITIATION
We strongly recommend initiating the Raku bowl before use!
Raku bowls are extremely fragile, as their clay is fairly porous. An appropriate initiation makes them significantly sturdier.
If you order initiation, we do it for you before sending the bowl. If you prefer doing the initiation yourself, you can find instructions about how to do it in our Raku chawan blog post (linked below).

After using the tea bowl, rinse it gently with water. Do not put it in the dishwasher or dryer. Always wash by hand with gentle, organic dishwashing soap.
Avoid placing it on hot surfaces like a stove; never put it in the microwave or oven.
The chawan is only meant to be used for Matcha tea.
