It is ESSENTIAL that you have a sifter like this! For me, there is no point even making a cup of matcha tea if it hasn't already been sifted; it impacts the flavour and consistency massively. This sifter is great because it's steel - matcha should always be stored at cool temperatures and the steel allows the matcha inside to be cooler than if you were storing it in a plastic re-sealable bag.
