Glass matcha tea bowl from Imaoka Myōken
A lovely handmade and hand-painted tempered glass bowl decorated with fireflies and bell flowers. Fireflies in Japan have both symbolic and spiritual value. Their magical glow refers to enlightenment as well as passionate love.
A special edition for Summer.
"Hira" chawan are flat and wide, commonly used in summer, because thanks to their shape, matcha cools easier in them.
The bowl is heat resistant and suitable for both hot and cold tea.
We ship the tea bowl in a Japanese paper gift box.
