Anxi Long Juan Tie Guan Yin

Chinese oolong tea

Anxi Long Juan Tie Guan Yin Anxi Long Juan Tie Guan Yin Anxi Long Juan Tie Guan Yin Anxi Long Juan Tie Guan Yin

A special tea harvested with special care. All leaves are hand-picked and hand-rolled, processed with the greatest care, which is obvious when we look at the stunning large tea leaves. This tea is light-roasted, which allows the original, verdant, and floral flavors of Tie Guan Yin (Iron Goddess of Mercy) to unfold beautifully.

This tea bursts with all floral - lilac especially - notes in both the fragrance and the flavor. The steamed leaves are filling your nose with the fresh scent of lilies and the inviting, dreamy aromas of vanilla and coconut. In the flavor, the thick creaminess of whipping cream, coconut milk and vanilla is balanced with a floral freshness which turns into a lasting fruity (peachy) - verdant taste in your mouth. Sweet and fresh.

0.1 oz
0.7 US tsp
95°C

100 ml
3.4 fl oz
100 cc
30 sec.~

STEP 1) Warm your teapot. Pour boiling water into a gaiwan or teapot, let it sit for a little while, then discard all the water.
STEP 2) Rinse. Put the tea leaves in your vessel, pour hot water over them and then discard the water quickly. This step is for "waking the leaves" a little bit.
STEP 3) Brew. Pour boiling water on your rinsed tea leaves and brew for 30 seconds.
STEP 4) Serve. Pour the tea into a pitcher, and then into cups.
STEP 5) Brew again.

❖ After the first few infusions, you can increase the steeping time (to about 35-40 seconds).
❖ Make sure to open the lid of the teapot between infusions, to prevent the leaves from cooking.
❖ This is how we recommend brewing this tea, but we all have our preferences, so try experimenting to find the way you like it the most.
