Ol******, 2024-10-13 10:53 JST,

I absolutely love my Takayama chasens and have a large collection of bamboo whisks that I use for traditional matcha preparations like usucha and koicha. However, when I'm in the mood for something more modern or café-style—like cold whisk matcha or matcha lattes—this plastic whisk is my go-to. Since bamboo whisks should only be used with matcha and water, this handy plastic version is a real lifesaver!

Ru******, 2024-02-06 15:36 JST,

Pros - durable and easy to clean. Cons - doesn't give enough air during whisking thus can't produce as much foam to the matcha as desired. Overall, a good and reliable product, but not to compete with real bamboo chasen.

Je******, 2023-06-09 07:47 JST,

This chasen does not work nearly as well as a cheap bamboo ones that you can get at a typical supermarket. However, it’s washable so it’s good for when you want to mix in with milk or other ingredients, or leave it out for guests to use

El******, 2021-06-17 10:11 JST,

It doesn't froth as fine as the bamboo chasen, but it definitely does the job and I can wash this one with soap and I don't fear breaking the strings. This is now my daily chasen. :)
