To represent the best teas from the region, the Kansai Tea Competition is organized every September. All competitive grade teas from Kansai area are displayed, savored and evaluated here. After the competition, the leftover from the 1-3rd prize teas are collected, blended and roasted again, this is how this particular blend was born. Made from only the bests.

1. Put 6 g Gyokuro into a Japanese teapot.
2. Cool boiled water down to 40℃ (104ºF) and pour it (80 ml) into the teapot.
3. Steep for 2 minutes and pour equal amount of tea in each cup.
The same tea leaves can be used three times. Use hotter water for the second and third infusion.
Used tea leaves should be immersed for a shorter time.
This is how we recommend brewing this tea, but we all have our preferences, so try experimenting to find the way you like it the most.
