Sweet and mellow green tea from the Wazuka tea fields
A delicious, sweet and sophisticated green tea made of a new tea cultivar developed from Saemidori in 2006. The tea is cultivated at a 360 m altitude and was shaded for 10 days before being harvested. The harvest of this variant is 10 days earlier than that of Yabukita.
The tea is silky-creamy with fruity undertones. The first brew is sweet with green melon notes, the second is more on a verdant and refreshingly astringent side.

200 ml 6.8 fl oz 200 cc
30 sec.~

2. Cool boiled water down to 75℃ and pour it into the teapot.
3. Steep for 30 seconds and pour an equal amount of tea into each cup.
❖ This tea goes 3 steeps. For the second and third infusions, use hotter water and brew shorter.
❖ This is how we recommend brewing this tea, but we all have our preferences, so try experimenting to find the way you like it the most.
Mellow pleasant sencha, not bitter at all even when brewed as per description 10g per 200ml - very drinkable. Despite being soft and smooth it lacks a character (therefore -1 star).
The liquor color is melon seeds. The leaves are very high quality and their size is consistent.
See photo of the first infusion 10g 200ml 30 seconds at 75 degrees Celsius.
