An Xi Gan De Tie Guan Yin

Chinese oolong tea from Gande village

An Xi Gan De Tie Guan Yin An Xi Gan De Tie Guan Yin An Xi Gan De Tie Guan Yin An Xi Gan De Tie Guan Yin

This tea from Gande village was harvested with special care and was hand-processed at all stages. This tea is lightly roasted which allows the original, verdant, floral flavors of Tie Guan Yin (Iron Goddess of Mercy) to unfold beautifully.

This Tie Guan Yin is a charmer. Sweet and intense like a flower garden in spring. The floral notes prevail but are smoothened out with a gentle creaminess. The tea steams vanilla, sweet and dreamy. The cup stays nectary sweet for a long time after drinking the tea. The silky-buttery liquor is coating the mouth, leaving a fruity - peachy aftertaste.

100 ml
3.4 fl oz

30 sec.~

STEP 1) Warm your teapot. Pour boiling water into a gaiwan or teapot, let it sit for a little while, then discard all the water.
STEP 2) Rinse. Put the tea leaves in your vessel, pour hot water over them and then discard the water quickly. This step is for "waking the leaves" a little bit.
STEP 3) Brew. Pour boiling water on your rinsed tea leaves and brew for 30 seconds.
STEP 4) Serve. Pour the tea into a pitcher, and then into cups.
STEP 5) Brew again.

❖ After the first few infusions, you can increase the steeping time (to about 35-40 seconds).
❖ Make sure to open the lid of the teapot between infusions, to prevent the leaves from cooking.
❖ This is how we recommend brewing this tea, but we all have our preferences, so try experimenting to find the way you like it the most.

Sz******, 2022-12-07 05:28 JST,

I am impressed that I found a pure Tie Guan Yin agrotype oolong, it reminds me of the first cha wang tgy grades I started drinking in 2007, everybody loves it, it is the introduction tea for many tea lovers, once you experience a good one like this you are hooked and sucked in the tea world, and there is no turning back... This tea is pure and strong it is stable throughout the infusions, I used a thin walled Chao Zhou kettle and a red clay yixibg that I seasoned for 15 years only with green oolongs, I would like to invite anyone to drink tea with me, it is a feel good tea.
