Unglazed white clay pitcher from the Takasuke Kiln
Created through a careful casting process, this pitcher has an expertly crafted spout and a handle lacking in most basic cooling pots, making it very easy to pour. The pitcher helps to regulate both water temperature and flavor. Fired in a reduction chamber, the surface has an elegant, matte black finish.
The pitch makes a perfect set with the Takasuke Ivory Kyusu Small and Takasuke Ivory Senchawan.
Place of origin: Takasuke kiln, Tokoname city, Japan

Initiation:
Before first use, rinse it with hot water, then let it dry completely!
Usage:
Avoid placing it on hot surfaces, like stove, and never use in microwave or oven.
Cleaning:
Tea stain is the natural part of a pitcher's "maturing process", but if you prefer to avoid it, rinse it well after every use. It is better to avoid dishwashing liquid, but you can use gentle, organic soap to clean your pot. Never use bleach!
Avoid using dishwasher or dryer!
Storage:
After use, always let it dry completely, for if stored away while still wet, it might develop an unpleasant smell or mold.
Non-glazed ceramic pitchers absorb scents and flavors, so only prepare one class of tea in them (green tea, black tea, roasted tea, etc).
