Hasamiyaki Sencha Teacup from Higasi Sonogi-gun, Nagasaki prefecture.
Hasamiyaki is a type of porcelain first made in Hasami town. The technique was brought from Korea and looks back 400 years of history. The porcelain is fired at a very high temperature, and as the surface vitrifies, it is suitable for all classes of teas.

Whenever I make tea, this is the almost always the cup I grab. The size and shape are perfect for me and it just feels natural to hold and drink from.
