Wuyi Mountains Tea
Yan Cha is a kind of oolong tea. Yan Cha is made from the tea leaves grown in tea fields in rocky areas of Wuyishan. Wu Yi Yan Cha, in particular, is produce of Wuyishan (mountain) of the north-west of Fujian Province in south-eastern China. It is registered as one of world heritages. Wu Yi Yan Cha is one of the most valuable kinds of tea. It is rich in minerals from the surface of rocks and in unique fragrance, and it has a sweet-bitter taste. “Yan Yun” or its particular aftertaste of the tea remains in the mouth for a while. It is a distinction of Yan Cha. It is known as a high-quality tea because of its scarcity value.
